The EPSR program is designed as a research-oriented postgraduate program for overseas students, which aims at facilitating an in-depth understanding of the theory and practice of education policy and school reform from the Chinese views as well as international and comparative perspectives, under the globalized context. In particular, international students can make use of the EPSR program as an academic and professional exposure to
Learn Chinese education policy within a broad social, economic and political context;
Investigate school reform and improvement from Chinese experiences; and
Learn Chinese language and culture in real life.
The EPSR program will equip students with cross-national edges for further international collaboration and competition, which prepares them to lead the development of education in respective areas in the future.
Throughout the course of study, students will be encouraged to actively participate in group discussions and activities, attend field trips, deliver oral presentations, and undertake collaborative learning and teamwork. They will be required to submit reading assignments, study-trip reports, term papers, and a final dissertation for assessment.
