SUMMARY
Gao Xingyuan, Ph.D. was born in Shanghai, China. He received the B.S. degree in Educational Information and Technology, and the M.Ed. degree in Educational Policy from the East China Normal University, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in Educational Leadership from the Western Michigan University, USA, in 2016. Gao’s main areas of research interest include leadership theory, school change and organizational theories, educational policy, comparison of educational systems, and data-informed decision making within school and classroom. Gao has published 7 journal articles and 3 book chapters, and presented several studies in national conferences in the area of K-12 educational leadership.
