At 13:30 p.m. on September 1, the Department of Education held a postgraduate-supervisor meeting of the International MA/PhD Program of Education Policy and School Reform (EPSR). Program director, associate professor YOU Yun, project teachers, professor Nicholas Sun-Keung PANG, associate professor LI Lin, associate professor DONG Xuan, associate professor WANG Lijia, Dr. GAO Xingyuan, etc, as well as the Class of 2020 welcomed the arrival of all the students of Class 2021.
Mrs. You first welcomed the Class of 2021 on behalf of head of department of education, professor HUANG Zhongjing, and briefly introduced the information on the Class of 2021. This year, 6 overseas students, including 3 doctoral students and 3 graduate students were recruited, respectively from Ghana, Tanzania, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Pakistan and Sri Lanka etc. Afterwards, the teachers present introduced their research fields and courses taught, and put forward their expectations for the students of Class 2021, hoping that they would cherish their time, spare no effort to learn and deepen their understanding of the theoretical achievements and practical experience of China's education.
The Class of 2020 shared their learning experience over the past year, expressing that course learning was intense but fulfilling. Also, they encouraged the Class of 2021 to integrate into the learning environment as soon as possible and cherish the learning opportunities. The Class of 2021 gave a brief introduction to their past leaning and working experience and expressed their expectations for future learning. They said they would complete the learning tasks under the guidance of the supervisor in accordance with the requirements of the school and the program.
