At 1:30 p.m. on June 12, 2019, the Graduates Symposium of Department of Education, Faculty of Education, East China Normal University was successfully held in Room 913, Liberal Arts Building. Wang Zhankui, Wang Lunxin, Wang Lijia, Wang Baoxing, Yang Guangfu, Huang Zhongjing, Jiang Chunjiao, Dong Xuan, Cheng Liang, Peng Xinqiang and other teachers as well as some graduates from the 2019 class attended the symposium. Zhong Cheng, the class leader of the Master's Graduation Class in 2019，presided over the meeting.
First of all, the counselor of the 2019 graduation class, Teacher Dong Xuan, reported the employment situation of the graduation class to the participants. Teachers at the meeting believed that this graduation class not only had a high employment rate, but also had excellent employment quality.
Next, the teachers at the meeting expressed their wishes to the graduates in turn, bringing the graduates the profound and unforgettable "last lesson".
Teacher Huang Zhongjing congratulated the students on their successful graduation. He believed that the promotion of scientific research ability of the graduates of the Department of Education could be seen from their employment prospects, which accorded with the consistent principles and objectives of personnel training of the Department. He hoped that the graduates would uphold the fine tradition of the Department of Education and be more outstanding in their future work and study.
Teacher Wang Lunxin hoped that no matter what kind of work and life the graduates will have in the future, they will keep close contact with their former classmates, teachers and the school, and help their schoolmates more. If they encounter difficulties in the future, he hoped that they will be patient and persistent.
Teacher Wang Zhankui pointed out that graduation means not only the expansion of freedom, but also the expansion of responsibility. He hoped that students would be brave enough to take responsibility for themselves and their families.
Teacher Jiang Chunjiao believed that the process of getting along with students is the process of growing up together with students. In addition, he borrowed two sentences from Mr. Feng Qi: "Turning the theory into virtue" and "Turning the theory into method", hoping that all of the graduates can apply their theories to their future work and life.
Teacher Yang Guangfu congratulated the graduating students, pointing out that this is the result of their own efforts. In the future, he hoped that students will go to society and work with gratitude, and often return to East China Normal University after graduation. And he wished the students all the best in the future.
Teacher Dong Xuan gave a brief account of the graduates' departure procedures and other matters. He told the students to ask questions that were not clear and not to be afraid of trouble. He hoped that the students could face the future work and life with a calm heart and keep in touch with each other after leaving school.
Teacher Wang Baoxing raised three hopes for the graduates: to be kind to others, to be courteous, to be neither humble nor pushy.
Teacher Peng Xinqiang hoped that the graduates will cherish their time and return to school frequently.
Teacher Cheng Liang said that it is a very happy thing to be able to participate in the growth of students. He hoped that the graduates would keep the state of earnest and persistent in the future that they had when they wrote their graduation thesis. He also hoped that the graduates will stick to their heart and not give up easily, and go back to the Department of Education more often if they can.
Teacher Wang Lijia raised her expectations for graduates: to remain independent, to be an independent person and to stick to their heart.
In the third part of the symposium, the graduates expressed their gratitude to the school, the Department of education and their mentors. Graduates have expressed that they will not forget what they have learned in the Department of Education of East China Normal University, inherit the spirit of the Department, and strive for the goal of "the leader of future education".
Finally, the host, Mr. Zhong Cheng, once again expressed his gratitude on behalf of the students to the schools, departments and mentors for their caring and selfless efforts.
