The 2017 Graduate Symposium of Education Department was held in Room 913, literature arts building in Zhongbei Campus at 9:00 am on June 22,2017. The Graduate Symposium, presided by Counselor Zhang Liyong,was attended by some 2017 graduates and some teachers of Education Department,such as Huang Zhongjing, Wang Lunxin, Du Chengxian, Cheng Liang, Wang Baoxing, Ning Bentao, Huang Xiangyang, Jiang Chun, Jiao, Dong Xuan, Zhang Guolin, Wang Lijia.
First of all, the 2017 master graduating class gave a report to the teachers with a self-composed and self-directed video.Then,the teachers respectively expressed their wishes and expectations to the graduates. Mr. Cheng liang cited three expectations, which were proposed by the older teachers of our department to graduates, in order to encourage them to work diligently, live modestly and fulfill the transition of roles. Mr. Du chengxian suggested that after leaving the alma mater and entering the socity - the “public shcool”, everyone should train yourself. And Mr. Du read a few paragraghs from Yuanyuan Hall Informal Essay by Feng Zi-ka,envouraging everyone to lead a good life. Mr. Wang baoxing expressed his sincere wishes to the graduates, hoping everyone would have a good job and a happy life. Mr. Zhang guolin put forward some specfic suggestions,asking the graduates to learn Shanghai dialect and take more care of themselves. Mr. Jiang chunjiao,taking his own experience as an example, encouraged everyone to complete the transition from a student in a school to a worker in the job market and asked them to be displined.
Mr. Wang lijia, from the perspective of a woman, suggested the gradutates be self-reliance, have some pursuit during the work and develop a open mind. Mr. Dong xuan reminded that while in the process of changing roles,they should deal well with different relationaships,such as work, family and life. Mr. Huang xiangyang told the graduates that everyone should have their own educationaal ideals and have the courage and strength to fighr for themMr. Wang lunxin cited “to should your own burden with your own shouders”,which was said by Hu Shi for the graduates of Peking University , and wished the graduates have happy lives. Mr. Ning bentao expressed his views on getting along with students and encouranged everyone to work hard and lead a good life.Mr. Zhang liyong expressed his wishes for their succesful graduation, and wished them a great future. Mr. Huang zhongjing congratulated them on behalf of the Department and hoped that everyone would be free to go back to his alma mater.
On the behalf of the 2017 doctoral students and postgraduates, Doctoral student Qian lu, postgraduate Qin Yiming respctively gave a speech. Reviewing their course of study, they made a vision of their future and expressed their gratitude to the department.At last, other graduates, according to their personal situations, also expressed their respect to the teachers and their enthusiasm for the future work.
