The First Postgraduate Academic Forum

The first postgraduate academic forum  was held by Education Department  in Roon 913 , Literature Arts building, Zhong bei Campus, ECNU at 8:30 am on June 1, 2017. The forum is an academic activity mainly for postgraduates, aiming at stimulating their academic enthusiasm and promoting their research ability and level. Some teachers of Department of Education,such as Huang Zhongjing, Wang Lunxin, Cheng Liang, Yang Guangfu, Dong Xuan, attended the opening ceremony of the forum, and more than 60 postgraduates and doctoral students participated the forum.

Mr. Huang zhongjing, Director of the Department,said in his speech “…the postgraduates' scientific research ability is an important standard to reflect the quality of postgraduates, I hope students of Education Department can seize the opportunities to continuely exercise themsleves, fully develop and show their research capabilities.”  Then came the awarding ceremony of the thesis contest: Ran Hua and Zhao Dongdong was respectively awarded first prize of doctor and master; Tian Xianpeng, Liu Suling, Zhang Yuejia, Li Shu had snow, Phillips was awarded the second prize of doctor and master; Yang Ting, Cheng Jiankun, Tao Yang, Zhang Meng, Che Zitong, Zhong Cheng was awarded the thirdprize of doctor and master. Then, while the first and second prize winners shared their papers, the teahers at present respectively gave some comments on their research outcomes.  Activities on-site were lighted  by frequent interaction, and the atermosphere was extremely warm.

According to the agenda, the forum in the afternoon was divided into three sub-forums: educational basic theory, which invited Mr. Zhang guolin and Mr. Wang zhankui; educational history, which invited Mr. Jiang chunjiao and Mr. Li lin; educational empirical research, which invited Mr. Dong xuan and  Mr.Wang lijia. Eighteen students gave speeches,reporting their research contents. The present teachers not only affirmed their efforts ,but also pointed out the exsiting problems in their study and put forward  some valuable suggestions for their further research.

At the end of the academic forum, which lasted for a whole day, the teachers and students participating in the forum affirmed the activities and hoped that our postgraduate academic forum would be better and better.
