Overview
The specialty is one of the self-sponsored disciplines at ECNU which has the right to grant doctoral and master degrees. Its faculty consists of 6 professors and 1 associate professor.
Research Concentrations
1. Research of Educational Policy, including research of policy theory, methods of decision, policy implementation, policy ethics, monitoring and evaluation, and foreign education policy, etc.
2. Research of Educational system, including research of management and finance system, teacher system, curriculum system, examination system, school system, etc.
3. Research of Educational law, including research of government, schools, teachers, students and other laws and regulations, etc.

Graduate Destination
Postgraduates will work in secondary or primary schools, universities or research institutes for teaching and science research, and also take up a position of teaching management in local education colleges.
