The Department of Education’s 2017 annual postgraduate commendation meeting was held successfully in Room 118 Liberal Arts Building at 1:30 in the afternoon of January 9, 2018. Shen Ye, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the Faculty of Education ; Huang Zhongjing, chair of Department of Education; Cheng Liang, deputy chair of Department of Education; Dong Xuan, deputy secretary of the Party branch; Li Lin, Du Mingfeng, counselors of Department of Education and more than 100 students attended the meeting. The meeting was presided by Mr. Dong.
At the beginning of meeting, Mr. Huang introduced the overall situation of the Department in 2017. He showed the achievements we gained in last year and shortcomings we also had to overcome in new year by data. In particular, He illustrated the training measures, research projects and curriculum settings which are closely related to graduates own growth and he also described the work deployment in 2018.
Then Ms. Shen made a speech for both teachers and students. She made a high praise that the measures our department had taken in the field of talent training and achievements we had gained. Meanwhile she encouraged our students to make a good preparation about their study, life and future career planning, and wished all teachers and students to have more growth and harvest in new year.
Subsequently, Mr. Dong read the list of award-winning students in 2016-2017 and the list of scientific research projects. The teachers presented the awards to the winners respectively.
In the end, Mr. Dong made a summary of the meeting. He hoped that our students would further clarify their orientations and goals in the postgraduate stage, and cultivate multifaceted skills and abilities to lay the foundation for job hunting in the future.
