At 9 a.m., Nov. 23th , invited by the Education Department of ECNU, Ms. Sharon Todd, the chair of Department of Education, Maynooth University, came for visiting. The chair of our department Mr. Huang Zhongjing, the director of International Business Affairs of the Faculty of Education, the deputy chair of our department Ms. Bu Yuhua and Ms. Hu Manyu attended the meeting.
At the beginning of meeting, Ms. Sharon Todd introduced the European international education exchange program Erasmus+, included the kinds of international cooperation exchange programs, the countries which can apply for, the application requirement and content.
Then, Mr. Huang Zhongjing introduced the situation of Education Department, chiefly from our discipline and professional settings, the number of teachers and students, existing research areas and our international cooperators and cooperation exchange programs.
Finally, the two sides discussed how to take part in the European Erasmus+ and profound international communication and cooperation. They all hoped to establish the knowledge network platform together through cooperation and communication, promote the establishment of higher education which not only realizes the communication among students, but also prolongs the relation of teachers, and carries out a two-way cooperation.
